Brass and NBR deck sealing plugs

Brass Scupper Plugs

A simple, durable way to close deck scuppers during bunkering, cargo handling, maintenance work, or spill response.

Each plug uses a machined brass or bronze body with an oil-resistant NBR sleeve. Tightening the plug compresses the sleeve outward, helping it grip the pipe wall and hold contaminated liquid on deck for controlled clean-up.

Construction

Built to bite into the pipe wall and hold pressure on deck.

The cast metal top plate and tightening assembly give the plug its strength, while the rubber sleeve does the sealing work. As the fitting is tightened, the sleeve expands evenly against the scupper wall to create a dependable barrier for short-term containment.

  • Machined brass or bronze castings for a clean seating surface.
  • NBR sleeve selected for oily deck conditions and dirty water exposure.
  • Common marine supply sizing for straightforward stores replenishment.
  • Useful for bunkering stations, deck drains, cargo areas, and maintenance zones.
